Starting in July, GlobalSaké Cofounder & CEO Talia Baruch is starting a monthly SF LocWalk (free & inclusive.) We typically meet for a walk with fellow Bay Area Localization leaders on the first Friday of each month at 3pm, starting on July 8 at Glen Canyon. Stay tuned for the next LocWalk™ happening soon.
It's typically a 2-hours total get-together and each month reveals a fresh trail in the SF area. These LocWalks are designed for industry relationship building in small, intimate groups. Space is limited and fills up fast, so be sure to secure your spot asap!

October 30 Batteries to Bluffs LocWalk™ Recap
A fun group of Localization and International Expansion professionals, some local but many visiting, ventured to the California coast on a chilly, windy, foggy day for a LocWalk that started at Immigrant Point Overlook, hiking down to the Batteries to Bluffs trail, with a hope that we would get a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. We finally did and it only took walking within about 100 feet of the bridge. On the way back to the meeting point, the group learned about the West Coast Memorial to the Missing of World War II, a monument dedicated to missing soldiers, sailors, marines, coast guardsmen, and airmen of World War II.
Afterwards the group headed down to Radhaus to warm up while enjoying German beer and bites. So many great memories of meeting new people and connecting with faces that had only been previously seen via Zoom.
The day was a great example of the community and connection that we strive to create through GlobalSaké experiences.
September 9 Presidio LocWalk Recap
Another glorious GlobalSaké Monthly Friday SF LocWalk ™! This time a hike through the Presidio with lively discussions on Product Geo-Fit, on Sign Language Localization, and a thorough coverage of the world’s best TV shows… So great catching up and thanks for coming out to soak in the last bits of sun before we’re cold again.
August 5 Land's End LocWalk Recap
Wonderful coming together on Aug. 5 for our monthly GlobalSaké LocWalk™ for another in-person outdoor active experience, cross-pollinating "all things global" across functions and cultures. These experiences are the antidote for the indoor on-screen siloed work environments. We re-connect, re-charge, and re-member the power or memorable moments, in movement. Great seeing the group out there and thank you for making the trip from all parts of the Bay, overcoming OutsideLands traffic!
