Project Lead - Digital Trade/Digital Payment at the World Economic Forum
Yan Xiao is Project Lead for the Digital Trade Portfolio at the World Economic Forum-Center for 4th Industrial Revolution. Yan focuses on promoting cross border digital payments to drive economic growth by engaging multi-stakeholders to shape global payments policies. Yan has extensive private sector experience in financial services, e-commerce, cross border investments and capital markets through her prior roles as senior legal counsel for Ant Financial/Alipay and lawyer at Shearman & Sterling LLP. Yan received her B.A. in Economics and Political Science from New York University and her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
